Child Overweight: A Preventive Toolkit for Parents
Learn how we can adopt a preventive approach to helping our children through looking at health consequences of child overweight, identity the leading causes of overweight in youth and explore prevention and intervention strategies for parents.
Family Fitness
Do your kids spend too mcuh time in front of the TV or computer? Get the whole family involved and make it fun. In this session, explore age-appropriate exercises for children of all ages and locate the many "fun spots" on Oahu that involve physical activity.

Examine factors that have contributed to our struggle with weight and discover the joys of gaining health through practicing healthy behaviors. Determine what influences your current eating and exercise habits, and learn to develop new behaviors.
Healthy Eating Island StyleObesity is a major epidemic in our nation. What can we do, here in
Hawaii, to help resolve this problem? This workshop will provide
participants with essential tools and strategies that can help make
