THE YMCA OF HONOLULU ANNOUNCES THE 2007 YMCA BOARD OF DIRECTORS


Honolulu, HI, April 3, 2007
— The YMCA of Honolulu recently announced the officers of the 2007 Board of Directors for its 53-member board. The board term is three years with eligibility for a second three-year term. The following officers were named:
Jim Yates – Chair; President, The Gas Company
Steven Ai – Vice Chair; President & CEO, City Mill Co., Ltd.
Bruce Coppa – Vice Chair; Sr. Vice President, Communications Pacific
Tim Johns – Vice Chair; COO, Estate of Samuel Mills Damon
Michael Broderick – Secretary; Judge, Honolulu District Family Court
Rodney Matsumoto – Treasurer

Larry Bush, CEO and President of the YMCA of Honolulu said, “I am very excited about the support and leadership the new board of directors brings to the YMCA of Honolulu. As the YMCA continues to expand operations and our impact in the community, these leaders bring expertise from all areas of business, public service, community relations and communications, which will serve us well.”

The YMCA of Honolulu currently operates nine branches throughout Oahu, including Atherton,
Central, Kaimuki-Waialae, Kalihi, Leeward, Mililani, Nuuanu, Windward, and Camp H.R.
Erdman, the YMCA resident camp on the North Shore.
