Honolulu Student Housing | Atherton Branch Dormitory
The Charles H. Atherton and Mary Atherton Richards Houses are a traditional 79 space co-ed dormitory for men and
women attending an accredited college on 'Oahu. The Atherton Branch YMCA is located
directly across the University of Hawaii’s Upper campus on University
Avenue. Facilities and Amenities- Single, Double or Quad occupancy.
- Shared kitchenette with microwave and range in Atherton House
- Shared kitchenette in Mary Atherton Richards House.
- Coin operated laundry in Atherton House.
- Air Conditioned study room Atherton House.
- Air Conditioned Lounge in Mary Atherton Richards House.
- Group living area w/ Basic Cable TV, Wii, Xbox 360, Pool and Ping Pong Tables.
- Dining room.
- Internet Access - wireless in lobby areas, wired cat5 jack in
each room. (Internet access provided by the YMCA of Honolulu-Atherton Branch is for academic purposes only. Some websites may be blocked to prevent bandwidth problems on the YMCA network. Residents are allowed to order private DSL service through Hawaiian Telcom or wireless service through vendors like ClearWire or Sprint).
- Residents are allowed to contract telephone service through Hawaiian
Telcom
- Rooms are furnished with a standard twin bed, dresser, desk,
chair and closet.
- Residents registered for full Summer Session, Spring and Fall Semesters receive YMCA of Honolulu Fitness Memberships. The Fitness Membership is valid at any YMCA of Honolulu facility.
