Camp Erdman Magic

Mention the name "YMCA Camp Erdman" and for many it conjures up warm memories of “small kid time,” when the highlight of the school year was the stay at camp. Memories of rustic cabins, new friendships, and the great outdoor experience are still being made. The magic of YMCA Camp Erdman is that our tradition spans across time.

YMCA Camp Erdman is not just a place for kama'aina, our doors are open to everyone and have impacted the lives of children, teens, adults, and families across the globe. Today we serve over 20,000 people annually through our environmental education and leadership curriculum, family and resident camps, as well as our numerous international and mainland group programs. YMCA Camp Erdman continues to be an inclusive organization serving children, youth, men and women of all ages, faiths and backgrounds. YMCA Camp Erdman is truly a magical place for all.

Accreditation

Aca-accredited-logoWe are proud to have our camps accredited by the American Camp Association, which means that we care enough to undergo a thorough (up to 300 standards) review of our operation — from staff qualifications and training to emergency management.

American Camp Association collaborates with experts from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Red Cross, and other youth-serving agencies to assure that current practices at our camp reflect the most up-to-date, research-based standards in camp operation. Camps and ACA form a partnership that promotes growth and fun in an environment committed to safety.
