POSITION:                   Dance Instructor (Hula)

LOCATION:                  Leeward Branch

SALARY RANGE:            $20.00 - $22.00/hour

STATUS:                      Part- time/non-exempt

 GENERAL FUNCTION: 

Responsible for conducting dance classes. Serves as a representative of the YMCA by providing quality customer service, leads safe and effective classes to all participants in accordance with class descriptions. Works under the supervision and guidance of the Healthy Lifestyles Director

QUALIFICATIONS:     

Skills/Knowledge:

• Knowledge of designing, conducting, and implementing safe, and effective dance exercise classes

Education/Training:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred
• CPR/AED and First Aid required
• Certification in Group Exercise or equivalent preferred
• TB required

Experience:

• 2 years experience in dance field preferred
