Court-Ordered Services is funded by Family Court, First Circuit. The Judiciary Substance Abuse Treatment Program targets
adjudicated youth up to age 18. Services are provided to youth that are referred
to this program through the
State
of Hawaii Family Court, First Circuit Court.
Program
goals are abstinence, learning life skills and developing an awareness of how
substance use affects their lives. Services include individual/group sessions
focusing on substance abuse education, social and life skills, relapse
prevention and educational/recreational activities. A follow-up contact is
completed at 90 and 180 days after discharge from the program. Counselors also
provide Substance Abuse Assessments and recommendations for treatment services
as requested by Court Officers of the Family Court.
