MAKE A YEAR END GIFT TO THE YMCA OF HONOLULU AND HAVE IT MATCHED!
The Clarence T. C. Ching Foundation has generously posed a 2009 challenge grant for the YMCA of Honolulu. The foundation will match all year-end gifts made to the YMCA of Honolulu by 100% (up to $50,000 total). This means that if you make a gift, they will match your gift entirely, thus doubling the impact of your gift! The matched dollars will benefit the YMCA Teen Development Fund, which supports innovative programming and events for Oahu’s next generation, including YMCA Hawaii Youth Legislature, Leadership Unlimited, Club MID, Rural Youth Crime Prevention, international exchange programs, excursions and drop-in programs. Gifts must be postmarked or made online by December 31st, 2009 in order to qualify for the Clarence T. C. Ching Foundation Challenge Match.
Looking for other ways to give? Supporters of the YMCA 70 ½ or older can now use their Traditional IRA or Roth IRA to “rollover” money to qualified charitable donations- the YMCA being one of them! Deadline is December 31, 2009. Learn more about IRA Charitable “Rollovers”.
