Heritage Club: Recognizing Gifts to the YMCA Endowment | YMCA of Honolulu

Formed in 1987, the Heritage Club honors all those who in the past or present have made a gift to the YMCA of Honolulu Endowment Funds. It also recognizes those who have informed us that the YMCA of Honolulu is a beneficiary in their will or trust, or those who have made a planned gift to the YMCA of Honolulu.

The purpose of Endowment Funds is to ensure the YMCA's ability to carry out its purpose and to fulfill its mission. With a sound financial base, the YMCA can continue to provide quality programs and services to the people of Oahu, especially during economically stressful periods.  In addition, Endowment earning can provide the funds needed to start new program or to meet new individual and community needs. Endowment funds can make the difference for the YMCA as it seeks to grow and expand its services to the people of the community it serves.

Given the opportunity, most of us would like to leave a legacy that gives meaning to what we valued over our lifetime. Imagine the satisfaction of knowing that because of your generosity and planning, children and families of Oahu's future will be able to take part in YMCA prograrms and services meaningful to them.
