But you just started on your New Year resolutions. How can you
celebrate this sweet month without breaking your resolutions and
without undoing all those hours you put working out. It’s simple. Treat
yourself to some light, healthy sweets like bananas, strawberries,
apples, and grapes!
According to
mypyramid.gov, eating a fruit-rich diet may reduce the chances of
stroke, reduce risk for type 2 diabetes, protect against certain
cancers, and help decrease bone loss. Talk about a sweet deal. So,
while a box of chocolates may be nice for some, try reaching for a
fruit instead. It’s a great way to treat yourself.
Remember, it’s sweet to be healthy!
