Serving the community for over 95 years, the Central YMCA is conveniently located at the heart of Honolulu's shopping district. The Central YMCA is a four-story facility located across Ala Moana Shopping Center and provides convenient access through main thoroughfares leading to Downtown, Waikiki, and East Honolulu. The facilities at the Central YMCA include the Health & Fitness Center, swimming pool, and residential facilities accommodating both men and women.

What Central Y Offers

The fitness center is equipped with numerous cardio equipment and multiple lines of strength training equipment. We also offer classes in yoga, martial arts, and water aerobics. Youth can get active through Dance Central.

Visitors will enjoy our residential facilities. It's an affordable option for tourists or residents looking to get away. Accommodations are available men, women, and couples.

When school is out, we offer Intersession programs. During the summer, we offer specialty camps that allow our youth to explore the outdoors, get creative with arts & crafts, and build teamwork while participating in different sports.

Water Polo Lessons

Here at the Y, we pride ourselves on providing a great place to learn. We are excited to offer a new Water Polo program with beginner classes to develop the young children of Hawaii. Our well-trained staff focuses on the skills needed to enjoy this fast-paced sport such as treading, passing, building swimming strength, as well as offering a safe and fun experience in the water. So come on down and join the Central YMCA family!
