YMCA Adventure Guides

Originating in 1926 as Y-Indian Guides, this program has evolved over the years to what we know today as YMCA Adventure Guides.  In this program you and your child will meet with other parent-child teams in a small group, called a "Circle"...these groups will hold regular meetings and participate in fun educational activities; such as box car racing (shown below), hiking, camping, and so much more!

Windward Y's Men and Women Club
The Windward Y's Men and Women Club is always looking for volunteers.  They meet at 6 p.m. on the first Monday of each month at the Windward YMCA; 1200 Kailua Road.

Aside from their volunteer service to the YMCA, they are involved with a number of additional community organizations.  Some of which include:

  • The Boys and Girls Club of Kailua
  • Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii
  • Kahaluu Elementary School
If you are 13 to 113 years old, the Windward Y's Men and Women would love to have you serve our community with them.  Please feel free to drop in on a meeting or visit their website.  Hope to see you soon!
