After School On-Site
Through a partnership with the Department of Education, the YMCA of Honolulu provides after school care for 7,000 children in grades K-6 through the A+ program at 47 public schools on Oahu. Check with your local school for program availability.

After School Program - At the YMCA
Provides high quality child care which parents can rely on throughout the school year. Each YMCA offers enrichment activities, including homework time, sports and games, and more. Program follows the schools’ schedule. C All staff are certified in First Aid and trained in child management, and child abuse prevention. Bus transportation provided for certain schools.

Before School Programs
An early morning program providing reliable supervision during the morning hours prior to the start of school. Check with you local school for program availability.

Honolulu One Day Programs
All day childcare program by the day during schools' waiver days and Teacher Institute Days. It is offered at most branches.

Intersession Care
Full day quality programs are offered during the weeks that school is not in session. All day child care by the week, during the fall, winter, and spring recess/intersession. All year round for Multi-Track Schools. Activities include recreational swim, sports and games, arts and crafts, music and dance, stories and drama, and weekly excursions.

Kids’ Club
Preschool classes for toddlers are designed with care to develop each child's individual skills and personality while encouraging cooperation, sharing and fun. The Kid’s Club provides opportunities and experiences which stimulate your child's physical, social, intellectual, and emotional growth.

PALS Preschool Program
PALS is a part-time preschool enrichment class. A structured environment designed to prepare the child for a formal preschool setting. Includes formulized activities that continue to develop social and behavioral skills along with cognitive, gross and fine motor skills. One teacher per 4-5 children.
