Summer Day Camp and Specialty Camps (Grades K-7) at various branches
Your children will be able to participate in a variety of activities such as swimming, group sports, arts and crafts, nature and discovery. Older youth go on action-packed excursions two to three times a week. Day Camp offers six weeks during the summer. Each week has a different theme. Campers may choose to participate in a combination of any weeks.

Summer Resident Camp (Ages 6-15) at Camp H.R. Erdman
The traditional Resident Camp program is five nights and six days of fun-filled activities. Our camp counselors encourage and support campers throughout various activities while furthering personal development, allowing campers to enhance values and to build charter and lifelong skills. Arts & crafts, swimming, kayaking, hiking, snorkeling, challenge course, athletics, nature, performing arts, beach writing and archery are just some of the many activities your child may choose to participate in.

We offer the following specialty camps:

- Horsemanship Camp

Additional Summer School Programs
Summer School Special
Designed for children attending summer school, this program provides afternoon activities such as study hall, reading, swimming and more. Transportation is included from selected schools to the YMCA branch or program location.
Summer Time
This program is designed for families who want quality childcare at an affordable price. Activities include swimming, arts & carats, outdoor games, dance, excursions and more.
Teen Leadership
Teens serve as “Junior Leaders” working with children and assisting adult leaders. In addition to leadership training session, teens participate in social events and community service projects that build confidence and problem solving skills. Training is mandatory.
Swimming
Special swimming sessions are held in the summer to accommodate families. Registration for lessons takes place in May-June. Please contact your local YMCA branch for details.
