Club MID
In Club MID, teens will engage on a journey to discover new things about themselves, their peers and their world, while learning specific skills they can put to use in the coming years. Teens are given the freedom to grow, develop and explore at their own pace with guidance and supervision. Teens incorporate service learning, leadership, weekly excursions, and of course, fun!

Leadership Unlimited
Leadership Unlimited is for High Schoolers who want to develop their leadership skills, while having fun with their peers. Most of the learning comes through interaction with other teens, by participating in a wide variety of activities geared toward the four major program areas: Social, Service, Personal Growth, Leadership.

Let's Get Together
Hiroshima-Honolulu Exchange - High School
In the spirit of international cooperation, the YMCA of Honolulu and its international sister, the Hiroshima YMCA participate in an annual international exchange. The program seeks to build and grow bonds between the youth of our YMCAs. Every other year, the YMCA of Honolulu hosts a delegation from the Hiroshima YMCA, and then the YMCA of Honolulu sends a delegation up to Hiroshima, Japan.

Teen Leadership
The Teen Leadership Program teaches valuable life skills through leadership and mandatory training activities. Teens serve as "Junior Leaders" working with children and assisting adult leaders. In addition to leadership training sessions, teens participate in social events building their confidence and problem solving skills. The program is for teens who have completed grades 7th through 11th.

YMCA Hawaii State Youth Legislature
This week long program is designed to strengthen and improve teens' understanding of the legislative process and parliamentary procedures. Also incorporated into this program are month long fundamental trainings that help build the confidence in each individual. It is a unique opportunity to meet new people and express their views on social issues.

Youth Counseling/Treatment
We have nearly 40 full-time staff members working with 4,200 teens to prevent school dropout, gang involvement and drug abuse. In January 2006 we kicked off the “Rural Youth Crime Prevention Program” working to reach middle school aged youth in Waianae, Waialua, Wahiawa and Waipahu.
