After School Care

After School On-Site (A+ Program)

At the Y, After School Programs are more than just kid-watching. It's about engaging your children in those critical hours where they should be safe and supervised.

Through a partnership with the Department of Education, the YMCA of Honolulu provides after school care for over 7,000 children in grades K-6 through the A+ program at 48 public schools on Oahu. Download the 2012-2013 Registration Forms below or check with your local school for program availability and registration.

After School Program (ASP)

Currently only offered at the Kaimuki YMCA, Leeward YMCA, and Mililani YMCA, the After School Program highlights the YMCA's commitment to Youth Development. Students are picked up after school and brought to the YMCA where their daily schedule consists of a provided healthy snack, supervised homework time, and a wide variety of structured activities.  Activities include, but are never limited to: sport skills, cooking & nutrition, Kidz Lit reading program, gardening, arts-n-crafts, recreational swim, and singing-dancing-drama.

You're already missing the fun, come and join us for the experience. Call Ms. Janet Ignacio at 737-5544 for the Kaimuki YMCA and Mr. Cassidy Inamasu at 275-4630 for the Mililani YMCA.
