Position: Program Administrative Assistant - Schools & Retreats
Location: Camp Erdman
Salary Range: $10.50 - $12.00/hour
Status: Full Time/Non-Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work YMCA Camp H.R. Erdman, committed to strengthening community by providing positive life changing experiences for individuals, groups, and families, does. This position is responsible for, following-up with reservations, collecting and filing paperwork, collecting and processing payments and assisting other departments in providing guests and campers with an excellent experience before and during their stay at Camp Erdman.

Camp Erdman is a landmark that has served generations of children and families for 93 years and counting. Our unique mix of campers from Hawai’i and all over the world, combined with our epic location, make Erdman a special place for All. Camp Erdman is a branch of the YMCA of Honolulu, a uniquely positioned, cornerstone charity on Oahu. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.    Answer incoming calls and welcome walk-in visitors and guest that enter the front office
2.    Respond and follow-up with all direct and indirect communication
3.    Follow-Up on payment according to payment schedules and process payments accordingly 
4.    Assist, guide, and coordinate guest services to meet guest’s desired camping experience/outcome
5.    Coordinate and work collaboratively with Camp’s Leadership Team staff to ensure administrative details for groups and schools are up to date
6.    Follows all standard operating procedures, YMCA polices, and guidelines
7.    Attends meetings and trainings as assigned
8.    Performs other duties as requested

QUALIFICATIONS:
1.    Previous experience working with groups (hospitality industry and/or camping)
2.    Previous experience in customer service (answering phones, greeting customers, handling customer concerns)
3.    Computer experience (MS Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint -  Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides)
4.    At least 18 years of age
5.    CPR, First Aid, AED certifications within 30 days of hire date
6.    Current TB Test

•    Annual Salary Range of $10.50-$12.00 an hour, commensurate with experience
