Program Administrative Assistant

Position: Program Administrative Assistant
Location: Camp Erdman
Salary Range: $10.10 - $11.00/hour
Status: Full Time/Non-Exempt


Position provides clerical and administrative support to branch Program Directors.  Position reports directly to the School Groups & Retreat/Team Development Program Directors.

Essential Duties:

  • Provides clerical support to the branch program directors.
  • Responsible for learning and applying all aspects of Registration and Booking process
  • Follow operational procedures for Family & Resident Camp; School & Retreat Programs
  • Maintain correspondence with members and guests in a professional and timely manner
  • Answer incoming camp phone calls and inquiries and direct calls appropriately
  • Checks online registrations daily and complete follow up
  • Check voice mail, inquiries and emails daily and respond within 24 hours
  • Updates the camp website as needed
  • Provide assistance to on site guest
  • Acts as a team player and communicates with all departments


  • Computer literate, proficient in Word, Excel, Publisher, and Google Applications (Mail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Forms)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, well organized, and multi-tasked oriented
  • Able to work with others to achieve desired results
  • Must be able to respond to emergency situations

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • College level degree preferred
  • Valid driver’s license, clean traffic abstract, car insurance and use of personal vehicle
  • TB test required
  • Willing and able to be CPR/First aid trained


  • 1 year min. office clerical or administrative experience preferred
  • Payroll background helpful
  • Supervision experience preferred
