Aide will assist the program director/coordinator or group leader in supervising and conducting activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES /FUNCTIONS:
Assist the program Site Director/Coordinator or Group Leader in conducting activities for small groups.
a. Supervise child(s) during designated activities to ensure orderly, proper and safe behavior.
b. Check child(s) and assist them with personal care and cleanliness.
c. Observe child(s) for illness and check on injury and make referral or take other required action.
d. Contact parents as directed by the site director/coordinator
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; learn and perform a variety of program, office and related task; speak and deal effectively with child(s); work effectively with other; learn practical aspects of educational program goals, functions, and activities; demonstrate qualities of leadership; organize groups of children; and inspire confidence and enthusiasm.
. TB test required
. Able to be CPR/AED and First Aide trained
