VOLUNTEER & MENTOR

Calling all college students!  You can be a mentor and volunteer this summer.  We are looking for individuals willing to mentor middle and high school youth.  This could be through our virtual opportunities by providing a workshop, sharing your story, helping small groups focus on resume building, public speaking, etc.  Or it could be with our in-person events across local parks on Oahu.  We'll be providing fitness workshops, sports drills, and service learning - all while practicing social distancing,

If you would like to give back to the community, email us at studentboard@ymcahonolulu.org.

VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS & SERIES

Each summer the Y provides a healthy and safe environment for teens and young adults to challenge themselves, learn new skills, and be better connected to their friends and community.  The Y is pivoting its efforts to continue providing opportunities where students can do just that - virtually.  Our team of staff, volunteers, and  college mentors will be offering virtual workshops on preparing for college, career and job skill development, personal leadership development, and mental health awareness/self-care,
