When you need convenient and affordable before and after-school care, this program is for you.
Before School Program (BSP) - Updated January 12, 2021
The YMCA offers early morning child care for parents who take their children to school early in the morning. Depending on the elementary school, the Before School Program starts between 5:30am to 6:30am everyday. The daily schedule includes structured activities, breakfast, and being escorted to class. Program fees vary according to the schools' calendar.
As schools continue to reopen and expand their in-person class schedules, we will evaluate reopening currently temporarily closed BSP program sites. Please see the BSP sites below that are currently open - noted in bold.

How to Register for Before School Program
To register, please download and fill-out the registration form and bring to the YMCA Branch location offering BSP. In addition, we offer online registration for some sites.
After School Program (ASP) - Updated January 12, 2021
In addition to our A+ After School Program at school sites, we also run an After School Program (ASP)at our Y Branches.
Students are picked up after school and brought to the YMCA Branch where their daily schedule consists of a provided healthy snack, supervised homework time, and a wide variety of structured activities. Activities include, but are never limited to: sport skills, cooking & nutrition, Kidz Lit reading program, gardening, arts & crafts, recreational swim, and singing-dancing-drama.
Currently the ASP program at the Kaimuki YMCA is temporarily suspended. Please continue to check back for updates.
