For Youth DevelopmentDuring the school year, our Windward YMCA operates the Department of Education's A+ After school programs at 10 DOE Windward District Elementary Schools. During School Year 2015- 2016 & 2016-2017 we were voted "Principals Choice" For After School Child Care.
to add to the excitement; When school is out, the "Y" is in! We offer Fall, Winter And Spring Intersession Programs and during the Summer is our Famous "Summer Day Camp programs.
For Healthy LivingOur well equipped updated in winter 2016, the Healthy Living Fitness Center is not only efficient, it is EFFECTIVE with over 40 pieces of equipment to help you reach all of your fitness goals, we also sport over 80 Group Fitness Classes from Arthritis Tai Chi to Zumba, you are sure to find a class that will suit your fitness needs. Aquatics, Swim Lessons & Swim TeamOur heated salt water pool is perfect for lap swimming, swim lessons, water exercise classes and Mermaids! Yes! Mermaids or "Synchronized Swimming" - Every Sunday from 2:30p to 4:30p, led under the direction of Swim Coach - Alice Roberts.
Keiki (Child) Watch
The Windward YMCA offers Keiki Watch for members who need to have their keiki cared for while utilizing the facility. Keiki Watch is only available by reservation and can only be booked 1 week in advanced.

Togetherhood - Activating People for Good
The Y’s Togetherhood program connects people from all backgrounds to plan and carry out volunteer projects that address a real need in their community.
Our Togetherhood Project is righy in our very own back yard. The Ulupo Heiau (http://dlnr.hawaii.gov/dsp/parks/oahu/ulupo-heiau-state-historic-site/) Our lmost recent work day activated over 80 volunteers to the Heiau and lower Kalo or Lo'i patches where we cleaned the ‘auwai, pulled invasive weeds, removed rocks, harvested kalo and cleaned up the area. All together with our YMCA Members, Community Members and Program Participants.
