YMCA personal trainers will start by finding out your goals and then design a specializes program to get you results.

No matter what your need is, we have qualified and motivated personal trainers who are ready to work with you in person or virtually.

In-Person & Virtual Personal Training Rates

Each 60 minute personal training session is customized based on your specific needs and include strength, cardiovascular, and flexibility training. Sessions purchased can be used virtually (via Zoom), in person, or in a combination of both to meet your personal training goals and schedule.

Virtual Personal Training

If you prefer to train virtually, your personal trainer will bring the motivation, accountability, and coaching directly to you in the comfort of your own home and on your own time. Receive expert coaching from a nationally certified personal trainer via Zoom to achieve your health and wellness goals no matter how big or small. You have the option to work one-on-one, with a buddy, or in a small group. Sessions are 60 minutes but can be split into 30 minute sessions, if desired.

Our nationally certified personal trainers will meet with you (via phone/zoom) for an initial orientation to discuss goals, any health issues or injuries, scheduling & equipment needs. Through our "Fit Kit" loaner agreement, you may borrow equipment requested by your trainer for your workouts.

I moved to Hawaii in 1985. Playing multiple sports while growing up instilled a passion for physical fitness in me and I made my transition to fitness trainer my main focus. With 25 years experience, I’ve worked with all types of populations. Having that knowledge and experience allows me to design client fitness programs accordingly to meet the needs and goals of each individual safely and efficiently, following appropriate training protocols.

I began my fitness journey as a young adult. I grew up here in Hawaii, but I never availed myself of the climate and surroundings to find a path towards sustained, life-long health until my early twenties. My walk towards fitness started with huffing and puffing through my first aerobics class to my present role as personal trainer. Along the way, I had to overcome feelings of inadequacy about my body, recover from multiple stress injuries, and carry four healthy pregnancies. Each emotional and physical challenge provided me an opportunity to adopt, adapt, and overcome. These experiences taught me that it is never too late in life to start taking care of yourself and that life events should change the approach towards but not stop the pursuit of good health. I believe people have the power to change through dedication, attitude, patience, and a lot of planning. As your personal trainer, I hope to work with you to find your own enjoyable and sustainable pathway towards a healthier, fitter you!
