Learn and enjoy hula at the Y
The Y offers three ways to learn and enjoy hula:
- Hula classes for all ages at the Mililani-West Oahu Y
- Hot Hula group exercise classes at the Kalihi Y
- Hula Hui ‘O Kupunahala Hawaiian studies program at the Nu’uanu Y, which incorporates hula, ukulele, and Hawaiian language and singing, for toddlers, kids, teens, adults, and seniors. For the Hawaiian studies program, parents need to attend an orientation if enrolling a child—call (808) 541-5279 for more information.

Preschool Hula: 3 years - 5 years / Saturdays 9 am - 9:30 am / $30 per month with Y membership—otherwise $55 per month
Beginner Keiki Hula: 6 years - 12 years / Saturdays 8 am - 8:55 am / $30 per month with Y membership—otherwise $55 per month
Advanced Keiki Hula: 6 years - 12 years / Tuesdays 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm and Saturdays 8 am - 8:55 am / $30 per month with Y membership—otherwise $55 per month

For ages 3 and older, experience a Hawaiian Studies program that incorporates hula, ukulele and Hawaiian language and singing for all ages under the direction of Kumu Hula Carolee Nishi.
- Toddler Hula: 3 - 5 years old / Saturdays, 10 am - 10:30 am / $43/month
- Keiki Hula: 6 - 13 years old / Saturdays, 11 am - 12 pm / $85/month
- Opio Hula: 14 - 49 years / Saturdays, 1:30 pm - 3 pm / $85/month
- Kupuna Hula: 50+ years old / Mondays, 5 pm - 6 pm / $85/month

Hip Hop Dance
Dancers will learn the fundamentals of hip-hop. While improving rhythm, coordination, strength and conditioning, students learn a series of fun, energetic hip-hop steps while allowing their creativity and personality to shine through basic technique, tricks, and routines in this fast-paced dance class popular with all genders.

K-Pop Dance
Join us in this massive following and popular cultural phenomenon. K-Pop dance is a dynamic and precise dance style originating from South Korea, featuring energetic and synchronized movements, intricate choreography, and incorporation of various dance styles. Dance to some of the hottest K-Pop music today that is sure to impress.

Saturday Dance HIITs!
Calling all DANCERS! Pump up the jam to some Hip-Hop, Jazz & Bollywood! Join us every Saturday at our "Saturday Dance HIITs" class! All skill levels welcome! Wear comfortable dance attire & covered shoes & bring your water bottle!
