Brain Health Hui: Supporting Cognitive Wellness
Brain Health Hui is a structured wellness program designed to support brain health and reduce dementia risk through movement, lifestyle education, and social connection. Offered in partnership with Brain Matters Hawaiʻi, the program brings together small groups of kūpuna to learn practical strategies that support cognitive health and overall well-being.
Each session combines light physical activity with brain-engaging exercises and discussions that help participants build sustainable habits that support healthy aging.
- Participants explore topics such as:
- Physical activity and brain health
- Nutrition strategies that support cognitive wellness
- Memory tools and daily habit building
- Hearing health and social engagement
- Sleep, stress management, and mindfulness
The program emphasizes both education and practical strategies that participants can apply in their everyday lives to support long-term brain health.
